Details about the lecturers
Anne Assmus studied Biology at the Karls-Ruprechts-University in Heidelberg and International Business (B.Sc.) at the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark. During her studies she also spent one semester at the Roma Tre University in Italy. Ms. Assmus collected professional experience in the fields of Competitor Intelligence and Market Insight, In-house consulting and business development at Novozymes A/S, Copenhagen, Merck KGaA, Darmstadt and MorphoSys AG, Munich. Since 2012 Ms. Assmus is Manager at Immatics Biotechnologies GmbH in Munich.
Since September 2012 she is also external Ph.D. at the Chair for Organization, Technology Management and Entrepreneurship.

Gregor Gimmy has worked in Product Innovation Strategy and Management for over 15 years, in Europe and Silicon Valley.
Mr. Gimmy has studied in the U.S. and Europe at the University of Stuttgart and at Harvard University. After gaining 3 years of experience in consultancy at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants he joined IDEO as Head of practice for Business Factors and Innovation Management & Strategy and helped to transform IDEO from a Design & Engineering to a strategic innovation consultancy. From 1999 he has served on the boards of a number of early-stage companies and has gained start-up experience as (co-)founder and CEO of three Internet startups and one innovation consultancy in Silicon Valley and Barcelona, where he was responsible for product strategy and development. In addition he has also worked in academia as lecturer about Design Management and Innovation Strategy at ELISAVA Design School (Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona) and ESADE Business School (Barcelona). In 2012 he has joined the BMW Group in Innovation Strategy and Management and is integrating new methods such as Human Centered Innovation, Design Thinking, Corporate Venturing.

Dr. Bernhard Kirchmair is Head of New Business Strategy & Planning at O₂. He was responsible for the introduction of Wayra - the start-up accelerator of Telefónica/ O₂. Bernhard Kirchmair studied computer science and business administration at the Technical University Munich, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and the UC Berkeley. He specialized in distributed business systems, innovative software engineering processes, and strategic management.
Besides his studies, Bernhard gained vast professional expertise both as freelance consultant and intern with companies such as Allianz Group, IBM Germany, or Deutsche Telekom USA Inc, New York City. He completed his Ph.D. thesis in management at the Institute for Innovation Research and Technology Management (Prof. Dietmar Harhoff, Ph.D.), Munich School of Management, Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich.
