We are pleased to support our students and offer to prepare letters of recommendation to advice applicants in the academic environment but only to the extent they are directed to a particular addressee. There are no commonly held opinion made​​. The report will be sent directly to the relevant organization, without exception, so for instance, the scholarship foundation or university at which you are applying for.

The requirement ist that you have attended at last two lectures of the chair with good success (average of the lectures 2.3 or better).

For the preparation of the reference we need the following documents:

1. Letter of motivation which has to provide (a) your motivation for application and the reasons why you consider yourself a suitable candidate
2. Indication of the courses of the chair you attended, including grade
3. Current overview of grades, possibly final grade certificate
4. Extensive CV, possibly including employment references
5. Adress of organisation at which you are applying
6. Requirements for the report: as recommendation letters are demanded in varying forms by different institutions, it is your responsibility to inform us about the corresponding requirements

Please note that it will take at least four weeks from the point of handing in the documents to the completion of the letter of recommendation.

In general, we subsequently agree a date for a personal meeting with you.

We will inform you when we send the report, so you can check the receipt by the receiving organisation.
