Prof. Dr. Dirk Totzek
As of May 2013, Dirk Totzek, Ph.D., is Professor of Marketing and Chair of Marketing and Services at the University of Passau. In 2020, he was appointed as director of CenTouris - Center for data-based insights, leadings it predecessor since 2013. He also teaches at various other institutions such as Mannheim Business School and Corvinus University Budapest. His core research areas are Pricing, Service Research and Business-to-Business Marketing. His work has been pubished in leading international journals such as the Journal of Marketing, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Strategic Management Journal and Journal of Service Research.
Before joining the University of Passau, he was a Junior Professor (Assistant Professor) for Empirical Research Methods at the School of Business at the University of Mannheim, where he also received his Habilitation degree in April 2013. After completing his studies in Business Administration at the University of Mannheim and ESSEC Business School (France), he obtained his Ph.D. in 2010 at the Chair of Professor Christian Homburg, Ph.D., at the University of Mannheim.
