Dear students,
We are offering a Master's seminar in the winter semester 2024/25. The detailed application procedure and topic is outlined in the respective tabs.
We are pleased that you are interested in attending one of our seminars. Our chair regularly offers the opportunity to take part in a seminar.
Our announced seminars focus on current research topics of the chair. By participating in our seminar, you will acquire important principles of scientific work. It should enable you, for example, to write a thesis using suitable empirical or methodological approaches.

Our chair offers the bachelor seminar "International Management and Social Entrepreneurship" in summer term 2024. Please, find further information on the seminar's topic for summer 24 in the following flyer.
Application procedure: Please submit your CV and transcript of records via our application form. In addition to the application at the chairs: Registration via the central web form from Monday, 15.01.24, 9:00 a.m. to Monday, 22.01.24, 11:59 p.m. It serves to better coordinate the allocation of seminar places. Topic: Experimental research in the field of crowdfunding platforms and investment decisions
Target group: Master students who are interested in empirical research and would like to write their thesis at the chair of International Management and Social Entrepreneurship.
Objectives:
- The aim of the seminar is to familiarise students with the fundamentals of empirical research.
- This includes, in particular, analysing data and presenting scientific results.
- Preparation for writing a Master's thesis.
Scope:
- Seminar paper: 20 pages (without tables, figures, references and appendix)
- Final presentation: 20 minutes + discussion

- Kickoff: 07 October 2024 | 12 - 2 p.m.
- Coaching I: 24 October 2024 | 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
- Coaching II: 12 December 2024 | 12 - 2 p.m.
- Coaching III (optional): 19 December 2024 | 12 - 2 p.m.
- Final presentation: 09 January 2025 | 12 pm - 2 pm
- Submission of the seminar paper: 31 January 2025 (by 12 noon)
