Philipp leads a dynamic team at eGym, a startup poised to digitize the fitness and training market. eGym have developed exercise machines with electronically-generated strength resistance, providing more effective
training at a much lower cost than current competitors. Machines digitally collect body data and connect to a personal fitness portal, which gives users individualized health and exercise programs.
Career path
Richard is Director of Product at CLIQZ, a German start-up building on BigData to re-invent search on the internet. There he is responsible for the full product portfolio with its 400.000 daily active users. Previously he worked at McKinsey, consulting clients in e- and multichannel commerce as well as digitalization.
Together with Prof. Häussler, Richard helped building the entrepreneurship center at LMU, where he supported great startup teams bring their products to life and also earned his PhD. Richard is excited by new gadgets; when not consuming TV series and films on one of his devices he plays soccer and tennis, and enjoys espionage novels and historical documentaries.
