AlumniClub - Alumni Association of the University of Passau e.V.
The AlumniClub (German Website) is the interdisciplinary and worldwide network of all graduates of the University of Passau. It offers a mentoring program for students of all faculties, numerous regulars' tables in Germany and worldwide, and much more.
Bayerische EliteAkademie (Bavarian Elite Academy)
The Bayerische EliteAkademie (German Website) offers training and continuing education opportunities for outstanding students who are willing to perform and who are completing their studies at a Bavarian university or colleges. The academy's services include arranging internships and study trips in Germany and abroad, classroom events during the semester break, and personal coaching for students by mentors from the business world.
Subject-specific foreign language training (FFA)
The Subject-specific foreign laguage training (fachspezifische Fremdsprachenausbildung FFA) includes an in-depth examination of subject-specific content in the foreign language. Students can choose between English, French, Spanish, Italian or Chinese.
Neuburger Gesprächskreis (Neuburg Discussion Group)
The Neuburger Gesprächskreis (German) (Neuburg Discussion Group) promotes cooperation between students, graduates and scientists with companies and business-related institutions.

Virtuelle Hochschule Bayern - Virtual University of Bavaria (vhb)
The University of Passau is a supporting university of the Virtuelle Hochschule Bayern (vhb). As a student of our university, you therefore have the possibility to use the online courses of the vhb free of charge. Centre for Careers and Competencies
The Centre for Careers and Competencies (ZKK) offers students at the University of Passau a variety of events that support you in acquiring important competencies and developing them individually. The wide range of events covers the areas of personal competence, social-communicative competence, methodological competence and IT competence. The academic studies are thus supplemented in a practice-oriented manner. Personal counseling services on the topics of internships, job applications and career orientation, as well as various events to prepare students for entering the workforce, promote the sustainable development of personal careers.

Additional qualification patent system
As a patent service (German), members of the university, start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises and private inventors from the region can have free preliminary searches carried out in patent databases. In addition, comprehensive consultations are offered on topics such as the exploitation of university-owned patents or patent and trademark law.
