Detailed Process of the Thesis
For further information about the process please click on the relevant headings below.
We place a strong emphasis on academic foundation and quality. The basis for each thesis must be a research question which should be answered based on scientific methods and the current state of literature. This, of course, does not exclude the possibility to write a thesis in collaboration with a company. The specific practice-related problem must first be turned into a research problem. In the case of bachelor theses, we primarily offer literary work due to the low processing time. In master theses, on the other hand, empirical work should be carried out in some form. Both the Bachelor's and the Master's theses should take the current scientific discussion in renowned international scientific journals into account.
If you want to work on your own topic, please hand in a one-page exposé outlining your research question and referring to the relevant round. Please explain why your topic is relevant for the research of the Chair for Marketing and Innovation and which research and methods you want your work to be based on to answer the research question. Basically, theses, especially if they are related to themes concerning B2B, can also be written in cooperation with practicioners.
