Bachelor and Master Theses
Theses at our chair are more than just a piece of text. They are aimed at gaining first and profound experience in scientific work and thus acquiring one of the most important skills that a university degree course teaches - and which presumably only a university degree course can offer.
In your final thesis, you will actively participate in the basic research of our department. This makes you an active “research student,” as is the case, for example, in the research training groups of the German Research Foundation. We will provide you with intensive support, starting with introductory colloquia and our Theory and Methods Seminar in the Master's program. You will be an integral part of our research team.
By working on particularly relevant topics from our research focus areas - strategic management, innovation and entrepreneurship - you will learn how to familiarize yourself with both the latest and fundamental literature and already develop your first academic contributions. Writing your thesis, both in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs, is therefore one of the most challenging but also most important and enriching experiences for most students during the course of their studies.
We offer a variety of thesis formats, including quantitative and qualitative projects, purely conceptual work, literature reviews, and case studies in collaboration with companies. Our topics are at the forefront of research, while also being highly relevant to practice and policy making. They are designed and prepared in such a way that you do not have to worry about the availability of data.
We would be delighted if you are interested in writing your thesis at our department. For more information, click on the links below.
