- Passau is just off the A3 autobahn from Nuremberg to Regensburg, which links up with the A92 to Munich near Deggendorf
Train:
- Passau is on the main train line going to Nuremberg (2 hours), Regensburg (1.5 hours) and Vienna (3.5 hours). There are also direct trains to Munich (2 hours)
