Dr. Jörg Ankel-Peters has been appointed as a Professor at the School of Business, Economics and Information Systems of the University of Passau. He is a specialist in access to modern energy in developing countries and the evaluation of development interventions and is heading the research group “Climate Change in Developing Countries” at the RWI - Leibniz Institute for Economic Research in Essen, Germany.

At Passau University Jörg has joined the Chair of Development Economics. He engages in collaborative research and offers regularly lectures and seminars to Bachelor and Master students in Economics and Development Studies.
