What we do

Student council of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Passau (Fachschaft der Wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Fakultät der Universität Passau) - that sounds rather complicated. But what does it mean for you as a student at our faculty?

• First things first: we advise you in all questions concerning your studies and try to find solutions for your problems. It would be best to come by personally during our opening hours (Öffnungszeiten) or send us an E-Mail!
• We represent your interests and wishes to our professors in the faculty council (Fakultätsrat)
• We represent you in the student parliament of the entire university (Studierendenparlament)
• We sit as an advisory member of the extended university management (erweiterte Universitätsleitung)
• We also have the opportunity to cast two votes in the respective appointment committees when filling new chairs.

Apart from all the committee work, we organize events like the "Long Night of Learning", the "Like a Boss" and especially the O-week for you to get a little bit of momentum into university life :)
