Visitors usually stay for at least one up to several weeks to pursue their research at the University of Passau. If wanted, visitors can attend faculty seminars. They will also be asked to hold a lecture series for the School’s doctoral students and talk about their own research at one of the departmental seminars. The positions at ICEBS are limited, therefore we prefer guests who offer an attractive seminar to the doctoral students. An office at the University of Passau, computer and communication facilities will be provided. Admitted visitors receive lump sum compensation from ICEBS to cover travel, accommodation and other costs. The amount is depending on country of residence and length of stay.

If you are interested in visiting ICEBS, please send an application to ICEBS' organizing chair of Professor Carolin Häussler. Your application should include a copy of your CV listing your publications in refereed journals. It should also describe the research you are currently engaged in, the project you wish to undertake during your stay, which faculty you wish to be associated with at Passau, and include suggestions for a graduate lecture series you would be prepared to offer.
