In this interdisciplinary seminar, students have the opportunity to work on real projects in close collaboration with corporate partners. Supported by the faculties of Economics as well as Computer Science and Mathematics, the chosen topics are supervised throughout the semester.

In the "Operations Management" seminar, current research questions in the field of management are analyzed and discussed.

3. DOCTOR - Recent Developments in Data Science

In the brownbag seminar "Recent Developments in Data Science," doctoral students take on the roles of moderator and discussant for guest lectures and provide a brief introduction to the topic.

4DOCTOR - Doctoral Seminar

In the seminar, doctoral students present and discuss their research work at various stages of the dissertation phase and discuss current research questions in the plenary.

Vehicle Routing Problems (VRPs) are central topics in Operations Research, whose optimization algorithms help companies optimize their fleet operations, reduce transportation costs, and increase overall efficiency, providing both competitive advantages and societal impacts, particularly in urban transportation.
