Learning Agreements

We issue Learning Agreements for international courses if these courses are equivalent to the courses offered by the Chair of Management Science/Operations and Supply Chain Management.

Students with a focus on Business Information Systems or recognition as an additional course in Business Information Systems (basic or advanced) please contact https://www.winfo.uni-passau.de/ .

Criteria for the recognition of foreign courses:

The application for a Learning Agreement must be submitted before the stay abroad. Subsequent recognition is not possible.
The content of the course must correspond to the course at the University of Passau.
The number of hours must at least correspond to the number of hours of the course in Passau (including at least 5 ECTS).
The examination should take place in such a way that it can be considered equivalent to the examination at the University of Passau.
Quantitative content in the course is required.
The university abroad should be listed in Anabin (information portal for foreign educational degrees) https://anabin.kmk.org/anabin.html.

Please proceed as follows to ensure a smooth process:

The application form must be filled out and signed by you digitally and completely BEFORE you start the relevant semester abroad. Please add the complete form to the linked form below.

Attention: Only complete, digitally filled out Learning Agreements will be processed. Make the request before attending the event, a subsequent credit cannot be guaranteed.

In addition, please fill out the following form and add all necessary information.

We will check your details and inform you by e-mail whether we can issue a Learning Agreement and, if so, when you can pick it up at the secretary's office.

It is not possible to send approved Learning Agreements in postal or in an electronical way.

Attention: The processing can take up to 4 weeks!

After your stay abroad you will need the following documents for grade conversion:

the official Transcript of Records of the university abroad in original (not digital!) + 1 copy
the issued, signed Learning Agreement

Grade conversion is executed centrally by the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Economic Sciences. Please contact the dean's office during usual office hours.

Following the officially confirmed grade conversion by the dean's office, you can submit your Learning Agreement to the Examinations Office.
