The Chair of Business Administration and Tax Management is a centre of excellence for national and international taxation research. We maintain strong collaborative links with businesses and function as an interface between the University and the private sector.
The use of big data, i.e. extensive bulk from various sources, enables companies to take more informed decisions and to map out and monitor their strategy to perfection. The innovative business course "EEBDA - evidence-based decisions founded on big data analytics" is designed to inform students about the functionality, capabilities and challenges of big data analyses and qualify them for a responsible use thereof by academic self-directed learning. A virtual course teaches the domain-specific use of the standard technologies of big data analysis primarily in the fields accounting, auditing and finance as well as the elaboration of solutions for case studies.
