For this year's summer event of the Information Systems department, we first met at the main fire station of the Volunteer Fire Department in Passau. Tobias Gleixner enthusiastically guided us through the station, showed us the various emergency vehicles, and patiently answered the many questions from the very interested group. His passionate commitment and joy in working with the fire department were clearly evident. The conclusion and highlight of the nearly two-hour tour was a ride on the turntable ladder to a height of 30 meters for some brave employees.

A heartfelt thank you to the Volunteer Fire Department of Passau and especially to Tobias Gleixner for the opportunity to gain insight into the challenging, often dangerous, and indispensable work of the fire department!

After so much information, everyone was hungry, so we ended the beautiful summer evening together with a relaxed gathering at the Esskultur Forum.
