With the successful presentation of the final group project results, the "Foundations of Human-Computer Interaction" lecture for the winter semester of 2024/2025 came to an end. Over the course of three months, six students in two groups applied the lecture content in practical exercises. Following the Human-Centered Design approach, students worked on designing a chatbot tailored to student needs. The exercises included, among others, analyzing user requirements, creating realistic prototypes using Figma, and evaluating own design concepts. This video playlist provides some insight into the results of the prototyping exercise: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLP29_ObsGSmOjPZ3vpC7t2lLcOQDZ9Sb3. Additionally, students gained valuable industry insights through an engaging guest lecture from Allianz, where experts shared their experiences on designing and employing chatbots in customer interactions.
We would like to thank all the students for their excellent work!
