The International Center for Economics and Business Studies (ICEBS) is promoting academic research in the fields of economics and business studies. ICEBS invites visiting professors and scholars to pursue their research in Passau and to teach in the faculty's graduate program. The main objectives of ICEBS are: Promoting interaction between internationally renowned scientists from abroad and University of Passau faculty members, to support internationally renowned research projects and to foster academic training of young scientists by exposing them to new concepts, methods and research ideas. ICEBS is chaired by the Chair of Organization (Professor Carolin Haeussler) on behalf of the Faculty. The center finances one up to several week visits of internationally renowned visiting scientists per year.
